Why Videos? A Question Worth Asking
Hello everyone,I hope you're all having a good ride in your various businesses. I believe this platform is a great place to connect with like minded people, to share ideas.
I'm asking a question today... "Why Videos?"
As we all know, what people see stays longer in their memory than what they read. They say "a picture is worth a thousand stories", I wonder what videos are worth? So, why videos? Well, videos tell the story better.
I'm not saying reading should be completely ignored, but the attention span of people today is short. To really capture their attention, then a video goes a long way.
Personally, I love writing (Got three books out now); but I've noticed that ever since I got started out with videos, I have been getting a lot more response from people than before. Setting up a blog is a great step, but integrating videos into your blogs goes a long way. A few short videos, with very valuable points.
Another reason videos are important for any online entrepreneur is because people need to see the person they are doing business with. Yes, they see your picture, but they can't hear you. With a video, people will have a better knowledge of who you are; your personality will shine through that. The truth is though, not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera.
It's daunting at first, but with constant practice, one can get them running in no time. So my question to you is - Is video marketing for you? If yes, why? Leave your comments below.
