Here's Why People Don't Respond The Way You Want
I have been doing a bit of research lately on posts, comments, and reviews made by people on social media groups and forums. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people who focus primarily on putting up information and links to some new ground breaking opportunity hardly get good responses.
What they get most of the time is negative comments from people who are either pissed about the post or they just feel like getting under someone else's skin (Some people just ignore them). In most cases, people who are already involved with the same opportunity will also jump in to talk about how great the opportunity is and why everyone should join.
Now, I'm not saying people should not be passionate about their opportunity, but how you present it matters a lot. Some of these new opportunities may have a good reason for starting up, but the people promoting them are just bringing down their reputation. Hey, don't take my word for it, if you feel you need to join any, do your due diligence first (Proper research).
Marketing is all about packaging your opportunity or product in a way that will attract people within your niche to it. That means you must first of all identify your niche.
Share quality and relevant information targeted at providing a solution, and also encouraging anyone who accesses it to take action; that will get people to notice you and come asking about what you do. Proper interaction, relationship building and helping others out in any possible way will always get serious marketers to the top.
Using public groups/forums as a spot for throwing just about any kind of opportunity or product promo will only make people ignore you the more. One can afford to do whatever he/she pleases on his/her profile, blog, fanpage or own group (You have control here, but it does not guarantee success; your activities on them will still count).
When "unwanted" information goes outside your "jurisdiction", you're bound to get side tracked.
One more thing to note, the "Red flag" will definitely be waved in the process to keep others on the alert; away from you. That will defeat the response you'd hoped for.
Little wonder most people still don't get ahead... feel free to leave your comments below, let me know your thoughts.
To your success,
