The success stories in the world of business are increasing each day. The reason for this is because a good number of people are starting to realize the power of application (Taking action). It is often said that Information plays an important role in the life of an entrepreneur - true! But, information that does not apply to what he/she is doing will not help in any way. Also, information that is not put to use is... useless.
How we access information is vital, because there are various ways to do it, and we can easily get sucked into the system and neglect the things that matter to us. The term "Information overload" sterms from the fact that we crave to know more, and in the process, we get bombarded with so much information, it becomes unbearable.
Many wonder why success is so far away from them, while some just walk into it. Some are sitting on it, but are unaware of it; some are looking for it in the wrong places, while some are just not making the move towards it. The work we put in behind the scenes will determine the results we will get in the open.
Case scenario: Two actors chosen for a play; one practices, while the other doesn't. Play day: the one who practiced performs well and gets a standing ovation, while the one who didn't practice gets the "boos" from the crowd, and a kick out the door by his director (That's just a simplified case).
For us to be able to smell success, we must start the cooking process. Uncooked ingredients don't send out aroma (Unless they are starting to rot; check your cupboard asap...lol). Ok, serious stuff now. My point here is, the quantity/quality we put in will determine the quantity/quality we get back.
Success will be smelt when we prepare the proper ingredients for it and start cooking it. Mind you though, don't over cook it (Going back to information overload), or you'll be smelling burnt food (Mental exhaustion; confusion, and worse - panic). It's all about working smart, utilizing the right information we have, and staying focused on achieving our goals.
Success is just a good smell away... can you smell it?
To your success,
