Proper Conversation - Why We Need To Establish It
We
all know that for us to really get people to know us, like us, trust us and
then join us/buy from us; we have to show them that we are not only interested
in promoting what we are doing or selling. We have to show them that we are
genuinely interested in them also, by spending time to listen to what they have
to say.
People love attention, and when we give them
valued attention, they will appreciate it. I read from somewhere that anyone
who listens more than talks has good conversation ethics. Why this is so is
because when we always do the talking, the possibility of upsetting,
irritating, or boring out the people listening to us is massive. But when we
allow room for them to also speak when they want to, then that creates a better
atmosphere for both parties.
There are people we talk to who would rather
listen than talk; in this situation, what we need to do is ask questions. The
reason is for us to find out if the person follows what we are saying. People
easily lose attention, especially when the conversation has gone off track. So
we need to be mindful of this.
To be able to attract people, and gain their
trust, we should endeavor to communicate properly; and the way we can achieve
this is by allowing room for a two way conversation. If we constantly throw
things at people, just because we know a thing or two, they will look
elsewhere. People want to know if they can work with the people they speak
with. A lot of people escape the 9 - 5 race just because they hate being bossed
around; but when that comes up again in the world of business, it gets them
asking - So what's really the difference?
So let's practice the art of having proper,
motivating, professional, and quality conversations with the people we meet;
regardless if they are interested in what we do or not (You never can tell what
might happen in future).
All the best,

Exactly! When people are more focused on what they get rather than what they can give, then they will always struggle to make head way. The motto there is very true; the more you give the more you'll receive. I always use Mike Dillards quote "You must be willing to give without want before you can have". That goes a long way. When we help others by sharing their posts to various sites, we will also have others share our content. Thanks for your comment Paula; much appreciated.

I agree. As I stated in an article somewhere you can also benefit from people that do not buy or signup with you. In online marketing you need a lot of skills. You can not be an expert in everyting. Give and you will receive is the motto here. Even if you have no special skills you can help others by posting content that ad value on other people's topics and by sharing them. If somebody is looking for a service you can refer them to contacts you know and trust. I also have contacts that helped m
