I just got told I can't spell, which is nothing I didn't already know(LOL!) but it reminded me of something that happened a couple weeks back as I was working on an article and came to the word 'dislexic'.

Immediatly I knew I had spelled it incorrectly but could not for the life of me figure out how to spell it properly.

Thats when the light bulb went off, hey we're living in the information age(or whatever the hell you want to call it) right?

A couple clicks of the mouse and I had copied and pasted my misspelled word into that google search engine thingy, it would give me the right spelling.

Well, it worked alright.  In fact, this is what it brought up:

Urban Dictionary: dislexic

The way people with dyslexia spell "dyslexic". "I kant spel im dislexic". dyslexic dyslexia dislexia spelling grammar by GarnetOakley Jan 8, 2008 email it ...

S***!!

Good thing I don't don't have much belief in silly titles, in fact I don't have much belief in the term ADHD either.

And I have no belief in that Godamn ritalin they use to 'treat' it either!

Do a search on the phrase "what if einstien had been put on ritilan", and start looking out for your kids already!

And my last comment WAS NOT ...directed to one person that seems to take things personally. It is about everyone that lives this way.

It isn't the drugs that are the problem, it is not the parents that are not ALWAYS the problem. It is LIFE. The bull crap lies that we have been fed for so long in our history of life. The drama, the fights, the arguments, the disagreements. ALL of these that kids pick up on. No wonder why kids are so damn crazy! I can hardly find anymore conversations that can not go with out arguments! It is just crazy! It is life, we are handed one big lie. Until we all reach together, understand all

Spare the Rod --- Spoil the Child.

When I was growing up, if I got out of line, I got a couple swats with a double razor strap across my backside.

It taught me a few things...
Don't get caught
Respect your elders (because they know your folks and will definitely let them know if you did something wrong)
The swats on my rump didn't demean or kill me and taught me the difference between right and wrong and that for everything I did, there would be consequences, good or bad.

It is not the drugs that are the problem.

It is not the kids that are the problem.

It is not even the fact that dyslexics cannot spell dyslexia.

The problem is that people do not know how to cope with anything outside what they consider to be "the norm".

When I was a small child, because most of my time was spent caring for my parents, I would go WILD when allowed a bit of free time. I was full of fun and exhuberance. I was noisy. I was a bloody nuisance.

But I was looked on kindl

Hi Jean,

Food? Forget about it! We don't want to know just what all goes into it, how it is processed or any of that. LOL! Best grow and raise your own...

Actually they say them red dyes have a connection to some of the 'adhd' cases, then there's all that junk they put in them 'fruit' snacks(yeah right!).

Jennifer, So there are no religous groups in your area that refuse taking shots? Also, there is a growing movement of parents out there claiming these shots have a whole lot to d

Well, I am going thru HELL right now with my kids. It is time for their 'shots' to be due..and I have been refusing full throttle. Now even the law enforcement has been 'harrassing' us. They are telling me my kids can not go to school with out them. So looks like home school bound for me. Then I just may turn into a FULL alcoholic! ROFLMAO. What ever helps to keep my kids DRUG free.

Have always been against too many pills, etc. We're turning ourselves
into a pack of hypochondriacs, not to mention what's happening to
childrens health.
Whatever is in the food needs to be questioned also.
My sister has a mild anaphylactic reaction whenever she eats
anything with a red food dye in it.

It is sickening how they want to poison our kids. Even the things that I am learning about the 'shots' that are required. We are required to be poisoned...we are guinney pigs. Test rats. SAY NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys and gals... another reason why there should be a spellcheck right here in Add your Comment field!!!

I believe also that kids should not be given meds for stupid reasons; if a child is "active"
the world can't deal with them and families are told there is something wrong and put him/her on "something"! My neighbour's both kids, mother and father are all on antidepressants and ritalin; sometimes they don't have the money for the copays and when the body starts to deal with "reality", st

Yes it is, Lil Mermaid...

I'm beginning to suspect that those drugs might be one of the causes of MS in later years, but that's just my opinion...

I have always been against the doping of kids for ANY reason, unless their active manifestations could cause them or others physical harm....

I feel that the Brain and the nervous system will naturally correct the problem, if given a chance...

If you really want to see something funny on google, just type in 'where are my f*cking keys?... You won't believe how many results you'll get from some frustrated, memory blanked people out there, and some laughs too! :)

LOL...Thanks Jennifer.

I just realized I left 'happy' pills out. Have you seen the stats as to just how many people are using that junk? Flush them down the toilet, and start dealing with reality...

Good grief...I mean, BIG Friggin Deal!
