Tomato basil soup Recipe - How to Make Tomato basil soup
Number of servings - 4
Ingredients:
Canned tomatoes - 1 jar (peeled and sliced)
Vegetable broth - 2 cups
Onions - 1 pc. (peeled and diced)
Garlic - 2 cloves (diced)
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Basil - 1 bunch (finely chopped)
Canned beans - 1 jar (drained)
Pasta (small) - 3/4 cup (boiled)
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
Saute the onions and garlic on olive oil until transparent.
Combine tomatoes with juice, beans, broth, sauteed onions with garlic in a saucepan, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add pasta and basil to soup, stir well. Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish with basil.
Ready in: 25 minutes.
