BigPond Not Able to Send Attachment Files
If
sending attachment files via your BigPond mail has been a problem, there could
be various causes for this issue. The first thing is to check the size of these
files that you intend to send. Similar to most email providers, BigPond also
has an attachment size limit, which is usually around 25MB per email. If they
exceed this limit, consider using cloud storage services like Telstra’s Cloud
Storage or third-party solutions like Dropbox or Google Drive for sharing large
files.
Another
issue could be the file formats used in composing these attachments. Some
document types, especially executable files (.exe, .scr, etc.), may be blocked
due to security policies against viruses and malware. Such files can either be
zipped before sending them out or sent through secure file transfer.
Finally,
ensure that your internet connection is stable enough; otherwise, fluctuating
and slow connections might disrupt upload and send processes of mailing
attachments.
If this does not resolve the issue, then get assistance from the BigPond Customer Support team, who will provide more direction based on the specific issue that you have.
