HAHAHA...Thanks Dwight! You're awesome!
Mici...You are still interacting and socializing online...that aspect does not get removed but enhanced where you have an audience of thousands upon millions, listening to you and responding.

HAHA Dwight, thanks for your support but not about right or wrong but the benefits that online education can do but so many people are unaware. In fact, online education is even more challenging than a classroom environment. Besides it further solidifies that you learn more in a group setting than in solitude however imagine the size of the group. Can a group of students confined to a classroom learn more than a group of students, from around the world, in an online classroom?

Thank you for sharing Mellisa. Convenience is a key to online classes plus the low cost overhead and global reach. ^_^

There are a lot of professions that require in-class education and hands on training but I do agree that you can get through a lot of classes online without the hassle of classrooms. When given the option I always choose online classes because it is just more convenient.

i dont think it will be fair to compare classroom with internet. we can learn through internet things which we havent learn in learn classrooms. it helps us to link to the world instead of restricting ourselves with our classroom syllabus..

My Leads Call Me

Given the chance to play games or study on the internet, which would you rather do? Play games of course.

I don't want an airplane pilot that learned how to fly from playing on the computer. A medical doctor who learned how to operate with a mouse.

The internet is great and as someone with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, A.S. in Electronic Technology, a Licensed Home Inspector, a Licensed Minister, and 26 other certificates, class room learning is the better way to go in my opinion.

Thank you Isabelle for contributing to this topic. I am only hearing the debate in this topic really is about social intelligence and social interaction that will keep classrooms from becoming extinct. What if the teacher was the only one in the monitor teaching 30 classrooms? (And I am not only referring to small children since they require adult supervision)

@ Oswald - I am with you on that one. ^_~
@ Sean - Smell TV - anyone in? LOL
@ Dennis - Ok, thank you for your view and social intelligence is quite debatable.
@ Charlie - yes, I just sum it up as teachers as I was being a lazy writer. But they are teachers with an MBA or PHD...
