Some studies have shown that eating sweets on an empty stomach can actually fool the body into feeling like you don't need to eat a meal.

According to the glucostatic theory of appetite control, there is nothing wrong with that if it is to raise your blood sugar, do not have the sensation of hunger and finish a job. But it can be dangerous if you do not feel hungry because you unnecessarily increase your blood sugar levels. This is usually the open door to diabetes in the medium and long term run.

Yes. Can consume.

Eating sweets soon after a meal will give almost double surge to blood sugar, one of the meal and the other of sweets. So eating with a meal is not recommended.
On the other hand eating sweets on empty stomach will cause faster absorption and again a spike in blood sugar levels.
The purpose of giving so much info is that avoid sweets soon after a meal and even later eat in moderation.

Yes, it is absolutely allright.
There are no out of the ordinary effects due to this.
There is no difference between eating sweets and anything else on an empty stomach.
Unless you have diabetes ofcourse. Then sweets are bad for you in any case.
