True Steps to Making Money Online
True Steps to Making Money Online
What you don’t know can hurt you online or at least
discourage you. All winners need to eventually win
right? And you are a winn...
Basically, what you don’t know....
Things like who your audience is and how to create
a proper ad along with testing is critical. If these
things aren’t firmly planted in everything you do
online then you’re missing out!
So, let’s start learning and doing what every
successful marketer is doing, shall we?
I’m going all free route so that no one is left out but
there are very expensive options out there that is far
more detailed but not needed for now.
Alexa.com
Now someone out there may have a better option
and if so please share away. I do have a few more
free options but this is the easiest and it is effective.
Alexa.com monitors just about all websites and
gives a rough idea of the traffic on a particular site
along with who is on that site.
It shows what sites people visited before and after
leaving the website of interest and the most popular
keywords that drive traffic there.
If mostly men or women are on the website and
their level of schooling is also offered.
Now what alexa.com shows is totally free but they
do offer paid plans that are more detailed. If you
decide to pay for it, the $49 is the best option to go
with...
Roughly know who your Audience is
The reason this is important is you will know what
you are doing as far as ads or articles. If the average
person is a black senior and you are trying to sell
cowboy hats, good luck!
But if you know that the website you’re on is people
who love cowboy stuff then you will do much better.
And for all you black senior cowboy hat buyers out
there...shut up I’m trying to make a point weirdo! :)

Believe in Yourself!
Nice tips Mike. Targeting is key in marketing.
Alexa has changed their format over the past few months. You can't see audience stats as easily if at all anymore. Another good site is QuantCast. This only works if the site has verified themselves on the QC platform.
Keep up the good tips Mike!
