Solution 1: Run QuickBooks File Doctor
QuickBooks File Doctor tool will run an immediate repair and resolve the identified issue with company files.
Close QuickBooks.
Download the Tool Hub from the web.
Save the file.
Open the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file.
Follow the steps carefully and move ahead.
Install the tool.
Agree to the terms and conditions.
When done, double-click on its icon.
Access QB Tool Hub.
Navigate to 'Company File Issues.'
Select 'Run QuickBooks File Doctor.'
Click 'Check Your File.'
After that, hit 'Continue.'
Click 'Next.'
Solution 2: Try to Rename the (.ND) and (.TLG) File
Firstly, navigate to the QuickBooks installation folder. You can access it from Windows File Manager.
Follow the path to locate the folder:
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents \ Intuit \ QuickBooks\.
Now, search for the exact file name similar to your company file but it should have (.ND) and (.TLG) extension in the end.
Once you access the file, right-click it.
Select 'Rename' from the menu.
To rename the file, add the .OLD extension at the end and save the file name.
