It is my great pleasure to introduce you to what I consider the enthralling series of Prabhuji Lachha. This is an Indian sweet dish that is produced from Prabhuji lachha sewai, which is rather creamy and suitable for celebrations. Being flavored with real cardamom and saffron and having the goodness of almonds, cashews, and raisins, Haldiram Prabhuji Lachha will become a hit in your home. Whether you are going to serve it hot or cold, this scrumptious dessert is all about the sensations of a perfect sinful treat. Thus, let us go for this simple-to-follow recipe, and let us prepare a delicious treat!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sewain made with Prabhuji lachha
  • 2 cups milk
  • May also add 1/2 cup condensed milk but will keep it to the barest minimum or exclude it altogether.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • Doubling the quantities given in the two previous recipes, the spices required are;anjaza sap ΒΌ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons; chopped nuts of your choice (almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios).
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • Saffron strands (optional)
  • Add rose water or kewra water, if used, a few drops only

Instructions:
  • Roast the Sewai: First of all, melt 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Extremely mix 1 cup of Prabhuji lachha sewai and fry it up to golden brown. Continue stirring so that they do not burn on the bottom of the pan. This should take about 5-7 minutes To edit the image and apply filters, select the image and click on the edit button on the right-hand side, then select apply filter on the top toolbar. That done, set it aside.
  • Prepare the Milk Mixture: In the second saucepan, heat two cups of milk until it becomes boiling. Put 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of condensed milk. Stir, until all the powders dissolved in the liquid completely, is done to prepare the mixture. Now stir in 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron, if using. Allow it to cook for about 5 more minutes to allow all the flavors to mix.
  • Combine Sewai and Milk: Gradually begin adding the roasted Prabhuji lachha sewai into the milk mixture, keep stirring at the same time to avoid the formation of lumps. Continue to cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes or until the sewai becomes soft and most of the milk has been soaked up and the sewai becomes creamy.
  • Add Nuts and Raisins: In a pan simply toast 2 tablespoons of chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, and pistachios), 2 tablespoons of raisins in 1 teaspoon of ghee. Pour into the sewai mixture, reserving a few for garnishing.
  • Finish and Serve: To give an aromatic feel you may add a few drops of rose water or kewra water. Spoon some more of the creamed nuts over the top, and sprinkle with a few strands of saffron. You can enjoy the Prabhuji lachha hot, on the spot where it is served or take it home and have it as a cold dish.
The dessert mostly known as Haldiram Prabhuji lachha is ready, you can serve it on any occasion or event.
