Homemade Aloo Bhujia Tikki Recipe with a Twist

Aloo tikki is one of the most beloved food in the Indian Street food scenario. It is a crispy potato patty that is filled with bursting flavours. This classic cuisine takes a delightful twist with Prabhuji Bhujia. This twist on the classic food combines spicy and savoury goodness with creamy Aloo-based tikki, creating a flavour of exposition in your mouth. 

To create this special Aloo Bhujia Tikki at home, grab these ingredients and let's get started.



Ingredients

  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes 
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped ginger 
  • 1 green chilli chopped 
  • ¼ anchor powder 
  • ½ teaspoon of chaat masala 
  • Black namak 
  • 2 tablespoons of cornflour 
  • ¼ cup cheese 
  • 1 pack of Prabhuji bhujia 
  • 2 tablespoons of cornflour mixed with 5 tablespoons of water 
  • 1 teaspoon oil 


Instructions 

  • First, we have to make the Aloo tikki. Take a mixing bowl, now combine mashed potatoes, chopped ginger, green cilia, amchur, chaat masala, black salt, cornflour, cheese, and fresh bhujia. Mix it well.
  • Next step, shape the mixture into thick, small, flat Tikki. You can also use a cookie cutter to get a desirable shape.
  • Now coat the tikkis in the cornflour dip evenly and cover with a healthy amount of bhujia. 
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Then carefully place the tikkis into the pan. 
  • Fry them on both sides until the colour changes into golden brown and crispy. 
  • Now remove it from the pan and take it out on a plate. 
  • Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup, whatever you desire.

Tips 

You can also add some more vegetables like beans or chopped spinach to enhance its flavour.
