Constituted on 19 August 1976 in Warangal in the Indian state of Telangana, Kakatiya University is a public university. The University is spread over area of around 650 acres. It has 24 departments in four colleges on the campus with a network of eleven constituent colleges and 471 affiliated colleges spread over four districts of Telangana with 248 teaching staff and 622 non-teaching staff.
