God And The Matrix
Though I understand very little about computers, I am fascinated by the technology. One of my favorite movies is "The Matrix" trilogy. Though I am a Christian who draws great inspiration from the Bible, I believe we can validly conceive God and Reality in non-Biblical or non-theistic ways. (Many persons in modern times are turned off with the concept of God being an omnipotent and ego maniacal King.)

Definition of MATRIX

: something within or from which something else originates, develops, or takes form
From this Biblical description of God and the definition of what a matrix is, one can say that God is like a matrix in which "we live and move and have our being". The order we perceive in Nature and the Cosmos are like the programs and algorithms in computer technology. For a program to exist there must be a programing Intelligence or as depicted in "The Matrix", the "Architect". However, this "Matrix" is not purely a mechanical reality governed totally by Causality or the Law Of Cause And Effect as the Merovingian taught in "The Matrix" movie but rather the programming Intelligence responsible for "The Matrix Of All Being" loves freedom, randomness and choice and has included these elements in the "Algorithms Of Life" and within the Human Spirit thus creating the "anomalies" like Neo Anderson, the hero in "The Matrix", who triumphs over the evil Sentinel, Mr. Smith because 'God", the freedom loving Programing Intelligence responsible for All Being made the thoughts, feelings and choice of sentient beings causative, something the evil machines and sentinels of "The Matrix" had to learn the hard way, the Truth that "Love Conquers All".
I do indeed trust "God", The Freedom Loving Programing Intelligence responsible for All Being within "The Matrix Of Life" of which "we live and move and have our being", thus we can be like Jesus Christ, Neo Anderson and other "Enlightened Ones", a blessing, a help and when needed a "Savior" of others because we simply choose to do so. "God", "Life" and "Reality" is essentially and ultimately Good within "The Matrix Of Life" and Love indeed conquers all.
