CAT Application Form 2017 will be available to fill from the 1st week of August 2017 to 3rd week of September. There is only one mode to fill the form i.e. online on the official website of the examination. In the form, candidates have to provide details related to personal, educational qualification, work experience, and contact information. All the details must be correct, complete, and valid else the form will be rejected in the screening process. The process of filling the CAT application form and its submission is quite simple. First, candidate must access the official website and create an account. Next, he must login into his account and click the link for registration form. Now, he must enter all the asked details as mentioned above. Scanned images of signature and photo must be uploaded as well at this stage. Now, the form should be submitted and payment of application fee of Rs.1600 (Rs.850 for reserved candidates) must be done in online mode only.

CAT 2017 Application Form will enable a candidate to register for the CAT 2017 supposed to be held in the 3rd week of November 2017. Through the exam, eligible and qualified candidates will be admitted to IIMs and other leading business schools of the country. Declaration of the exam governing IIM is yet to be made but it is speculated that IIM Bangalore will conduct the examination to offer admission in MBA PG program for session 2018-20. The official notification will be released in the 1st week of July 2017 and the form will be issued in the 1st week of August 2017. Candidates will be able to fill the CAT Application Form till 3rd week of September 2017.

CAT Application Form 2017 Process

The process of submission of application form has to be completed online on the official website of the examination. No physical application form will be released in view of minimizing paper work. To make the overall process easier for the candidates, direct link of the application form will be hosted on EntranceCorner website. It is suggested to collect all the necessary documents before proceeding to fill the application form. Further, candidate must have access to uninterrupted internet. Now, the official website of the exam must be opened.

The next step in filling CAT Application Form 2017 is to register and create an account. For this, candidate has to provide his name, mobile number, and email ID. After successful registration, it will be needed to access the confirmation mail and click the link provided therein. Doing so will validate the registration. Now, candidate must login into his account by giving application ID and password. The next step is to find the link for application and click it. At this stage, candidate has to enter all the asked details correctly in the fields, choose exam center, and upload scanned images of photo and signature.

Finally, candidate must submit the application form and proceed to pay the fee for Application form of CAT 2017. The fee will be around Rs.1600 for general category candidates and Rs.850 for reserved category candidates. Payment for fee can be done in online mode only. This mode includes – credit card, debit card, and net-banking. Once the payment is made, printout of the payment receipt must be taken along with printout of the filled application form. It will be required to produce the printout of the application form and payment receipt at the time of document verification.
