THE RUGGED, RUGGED CAMPER
Camping can be achieved by hiking to the campsite or driving to the campsite. Either way, one must have investigated the site to determine what types of hazards exist so that the camper can properly plan for his stay. For example, is the camper going to be challenged by bears, alligators or other large beast in the area. Or will he have to contend with poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders, raccoons or other small animals. Or will be hazard be poisonous plants such as poison ivy. I any case, The Rugged Camper must come prepared to meet these challenges with, first, protection against direct attack and, secondly, treatment if, indeed, attacked.

The golden rule of camping is to leave the campsite better than it was so keep it clean.
