David, I actually used a widget on blogger and wordpress and copied and pasted a code where I inserted "My free copyright"...both websites blogger and wordpress will allow you to insert many widgets.
I like the advice of Isabelle, which is superb. You can also take that one stage further, if you wish & if its a wordpress site, get the copyright content protection plugin for your site, which stops anyone nicking good work

I confronted the person and threatened to see a lawyer if they didn't remove my article within 24 hours...I gave them another alternative : quote me as the source and mention my copyright. They ended up removing what they had copied and pasted.
