I think this is very important:

1) Page Title (a good one)

2) Words on the page

3) Keywords in the URL

4) (Domain Links) Links to your website as a whole (number and quality of links matter)

5) (Specific Page Links) Links pointing directly at that page (quality, number, anchor text and Google PageRank of links matter)

6) Avoiding Google’s quality filters that filter out low quality pages and low quality websites

It's easier than you think. Pick out a long tail keyword phrase that is not in high demand, then create a blog and a video using that phrase. Post the video on YouTube and link it to the blog. Do a Google search for Traffic Swirl Marketplace and see for yourself.
