How to get more contacts/friends here at Apsense?

Invite people to join. If you are active in other sites, just add your link and your friends will join you. Make sure that you are an active member.

Most have said join a group of interest; however I haven't seen the follow-up to. When you join a group, check the members tab in the left menu. When you open it, page after page will appear. Those members your are already connected with will show the name and "Send message", the one you are not connected with will show "Connect", Right click each "connect" to a new tab and start connecting
