Thanks Malok. The problem with large networks like APSense is that there are many members that have little skills and knowledge about what is social networking and marketing is all about. Therefore there are loads of copy and paste posts and articles. This makes it a bit harder to find people worthwhile following and building a relation with. @ Paula Yes! Apsense allows you to screen the people who wish to contact you on different levels. Personally if all I get is a "hi", I accept them, however I do not share contact info or even give them a classification during the process.
If they have a photo of themselves in their profile I add them however depending on if they are active or not, I may or may not share contact info.
If they are a true business person and have their profile completed, photo, and the request is intelligent I

Further it points the author to one of the more effective groups here on Apsense where he (in this case) may learn something. Still further, if he is smart he will seek to connect with the respondents here, If I were one of them , my welcome always includes an upgrade recommentation

If you want to connect with people who are active at APSense, I suggest you check who comments on articles, RevPages and places such as here, you can see how recent the comment is. Also, you can go into the left sidebar and click on "Articles" or "RevPages", to see which ones were posted recently.
In short, be active at APSense, and you'll figure out the best ways to grow your network.

There is a distinct difference between a friend and a contact. I have thousands of contacts, dozens of acquaintances and a handful of friends. Just open apsense everyday and i am sure 99% you gonna find minimum 1 friend for everyday that you make that....!
