Mark, thank you for your thoughtful input...it is one question that I don't have the answer to...and often wonder about when I look at people with 2,000-10,000 contacts, is it only for show?
It also depends on how you socialise. I have had a number of proposals, which I think is very helpfull or would be helpfull since everything is new at moment. When you have request, read the persons portfolio, and from there, you will know which questions you might ask which will be of help to you. They always respond, negatively or possitively, it is fine by me.

As for the number of contacts in any Social Media or Internet training sites go I think the answer lies in the quality of the contacts and that quality can be hard to discern and may change over time.
