OMG...Philippe, jehobith, and Jason you all spoke my sentiments exactly! Crazy! Thank you for sharing.
@ Simple Man - No it's not cool...^_^
@ Mary - I don't even bother to decline...I just don't even respond and delete it. If you decline they probably think they have your attention at some point so they will keep spamming you. I wouldn't even entertain the decline button because like they say, no today, yes tomorrow. ^_~
No open doors...shut them down and bolt them. ^_~

i find it annoying to.....i recently deleted connections for this reason. A new connection doesnt necessary mean a lead, some people need to understand that ;)

it all comes down to unethical business. I simply "report" anyone who spams me with a "please like" or "vote" for site/page. I will report these people and keep doing so in the future. I don't know what is worse...a damn telemarketer or getting harassed by someone I just connected with that only wanted to connect with me in the first place so THEY could use the instant message feature to spam me direct.

@faii acy, I guess you want APSense to be just a big Traffic Exchange.

@Lisa, the spammers will keep spamming because they don't mind doing it to each other, they believe it's the right thing to do, I guess

One of the things that annoys me is my name being added to every event and invited to some webinar on FB. I get about 6 of them everyday. Why they never get the message each time I decline is beyond me. Getting credits here is not enough of an incentive for me to scan a site.

That is true Warren but using the credit is a better method than instant messaging and imposing on people to ask to like their site or to click their link.

Getting people to click through to your site is a challenge, but if they just want the credits they are very unlikely to complete your desired action anyway. It's up to you to build enough curiosity to draw them in.

LOL...You can promote it as a link and if they want the credit, they have to view your site. Or you can do email campaign and they click for the credit then see your site after.

It STILL takes two clicks to get to your actual site. And only the first one gives them credit.

So guess what? No one sees your site

Well if you put the outside links as a resource then it will become an Apsense link. Then you can promote it using the Apsense link. Hmm...if you are not using your credits then we should have the option to transfer and share credits. ^_^

One of the problems is that credit campaigns can no longer go to a link outside of Apsense. Since almost no one clicks the links in Rev Pages or articles they're not able to get eyes on their sites. I personally have 16000 credits that I know I will never use.
