ThaiFood: Tom Yum Naam Khon

Tom Yum Naam Khon (Creamy Tom Yum Goong)

When I make this dish I just follow Pailin's Directions... So why not just pass her Video on to you?
Although this recipe calls for Shrimp, you can use any seafood, chicken, pork or mushrooms and tofu for a vegitarian version. What makes this dish delicious is not the "meat". What I love most about Tom Yum Naam Khon is the flavors of lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, fresh Thai chilies, and fresh lime juice, that all combine to create a rich and soothing broth that will light up your taste buds.
Pailin gives some great advice on maximizing your Broth's flavor.

Pailin's trick for de-veining shrimp is worth the whole video.
Do not fail to follow and subscribe to her Youtube channel. You will be glad you did.

Yes I live in Thailand and Eat it everyday. The best part of being here is everything is fresh, herbs are all fresh. Very little processed food, at least on our table.
