Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in India which borders with Nepal and other Indian states like Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. Varanasi

1.       The religious capital of Uttar Pradesh is the second name of Varanasi. The city is also called Banaras and is situated at the bank of holy river Ganges.

2.       Varanasi comes in the seven sacred cities of Hinduism and had played an important role in developing Buddhism.

3.       This is one of the most important all the Hindu people in the world because of it closely related to all the Hindu mythology.

4.       There many historical places in this place like Jantar Mantar, Ramnagar Fort, Alamgiri Mosque, etc.

5.       The place is the home to a famous temple Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which comes under 12 shivlinga.

The distance between both these important cities is 510 km approx. The distance can be travelled via both train and road. The train starts from Lucknow and travels to Varanasi JN.
