Uttar Pradesh is the home of many cities but there are two major cities which are like heart and soul of this state, Lucknow and Varanasi. These both states are home to many people from abroad who live here and learn about the Indian culture. Lucknow is known as the capital of Uttar Pradesh whereas, Varanasi is known as the religious capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here are the reasons why Lucknow and Varanasi are so popular among the tourist.

Lucknow

Varanasi

1.       The religious capital of Uttar Pradesh is the second name of Varanasi. The city is also called Banaras and is situated at the bank of holy river Ganges.

The distance between both these important cities is 510 km approx. The distance can be travelled via both train and road. The train starts from Lucknow and travels to Varanasi JN. The train take around 14 hours to reach its destination if there is no delay in between. As both the cities are major tourist attractions, having a confirmed train ticket is like winning a lottery. If you want to check Krishak Express 15008 seat availability, you can log in IRCTC for that and booking your ticket 15-20 days prior your journey is advisable because the tickets are not available that easily.
