only find the status of the running train but also you can find the position of
your coach. This is a brief guide how to find the position of the coach in
which you are travelling, this can be very useful, and it can save you a lot of
time especially in the case when you have to change the station in between the
journey. You can find the exact position of the coach of a particular train on
a particular station by just following these simple steps-

can find out the exact location from the enquiry room from the railway station.

to your coach.

station or train delay leading to much of a chaos, or you are arriving very
last minute at the station, so the best way to find out location of your coach
is to follow online method. Follow these steps:

checking online, first you need to have a perfectly stable internet connection.

Then
either you have to determine your coach number and PNR number. PNR stands for
Passenger Train Record. It is the unique identification 10 digit number given
to the passenger in which brief personal and journey details.

can log in to official IRCTC website for PNR status

You
can use other websites such as travelkhana.com.

In
the first option, you need to log in official website and use these following
steps
i.
Click
on the PNR status bar and fill in your 10 digit unique PNR number which is
printed in top right corner of your ticket or in e-ticket you will find it in a
separate column
ii.
Once
you have determined and filled the PNR details, you can find the following
a.
Train
number
b.
Time
of the arriving train(scheduled)
c.
Status
of the ticket- confirmed/ waiting
d.
And
finally the coach position
It should be
noted that in any case it will not show the position of your coach if the
ticket is waiting and not confirmed.

can also click the second option in which you can access the location of your
coach by filling the PNR number.
