Usage of NABL and FSSAI Certification in Food Testing Industry
Food is fuel for all living creatures to run
their day without lack. That food needs to be pure, quality, and safe to
consume. Food testing is a way to address the safety level of foods to derive
the qualification state. Nowadays the food industry is widely accepted to
conduct food processing to assure the safety level of their own product.
Microbial hazards such as bacteria, yeasts,
moulds and viruses are a spoiler factor of the foods. Chemical hazards like
contaminants in products, pesticides, biocides and additives involved to reduce
the quality of food items. These hazards must undergo testing to increase
healthy life.
Importance of FSSAI and NABL Certification
Food testing or food processing could be
requested to be taken out for FSSAI regulation to maintain the quality and
health of any food items. A test food product will be drawn, packaged, sealed
and sent to an approved laboratory for examination of the food reliability
and health of the item. The different sampling food for review must be
collected in fresh clean containers that should be tightly sealed to prevent
leakage, evaporation and to avoid humidity in approaching. Picking the
already packaged item as a sample additional sealing is not required. They aim
to provide technically analysing procedures during an FSSAI food testing lab from
start to end. Without FSSAI regulation and standards food safety could not
qualify in a test that is beneficial for human health. Human health depends on
food safety testing, that test properly processed by FSSAI and NABL.
