UP Teachers Recruitment 2016– Uttar Pradesh Government has released vacancies for the post of Teachers in various primary, middle and high schools all across the state. The government has sought 9568 vacancies for TGT and PGT teachers who would be recruited through an entry level examination and Interview conducted by the state government. The Online registration has started from 06th June onwards and will continue till 05th July 2016. The UP Teachers Recruitment 2016 is an important step towards bringing education to the much deprived sections of the society and such huge number of vacancies indicates the seriousness of the state department on the issue. All the application for the recruitment will only be accepted through online mode till 05th July 2016. For that matter, the candidates will have to visit the official website of Recruitment forum. The recruitment stages will be a written examination followed by a personal interview where all the documents will be screened.

  • Date of release of notification cum Application form – 06th June 2016
  • Last date to fill the Application form and fill the Application fee -05th July 2016

  • Post wise bifurcations of the vacancies are as follows:
  • Post Graduate Teachers – 1353 posts
  • Trainee Graduate Teachers – 7603 posts
  • Principals – 612 posts


Eligibility criteria as per UP Teachers Recruitment 2016

  • For TGT – The candidates must hold a graduation degree in relevant subject and B.Ed. /BTC or any other teacher training certificate.
  • For PGT – Candidates must hold PG in that subject for which he/she is applying.

  • For General category and OBC candidates – Rs.780


  • For SC/ST candidates – Rs.530


  • Application form post of Principal – Rs.2500


Process to fill the UP Teachers Recruitment 2016 Application form

  • The candidates need to visit the official website of Recruitment Board.
  • Click on “Apply Online” on the website.
  • Click on ‘UP Level 1 Application form for session 2016
  • Furnish the details as required by the form
  • Pay the requisite application form either through online or offline payment through challan.
  • Submit the Application form.
  •  Download the hard copy of the Application form and keep it safe for further purpose
