Image Here we are Jan 21st a good 3 weeks have past since you made those new year resolutions! So how are you holding up so far with your goals you put in place? Are you living up to your own expectations?

Don't feel embarrassed or bad if you been slipping up a bit this happens a lot when you live in a busy world.  McDonald's is just so convenient.  The ice cream is so good.  The girl was mean to me so now i am jerk. I had a long day at work so i skipped exercising today! It happens to the best of us.. Situations happen and can change our outlook. Fortunately it is not too late to get back on the right path.

Start writing your goals down BIG so you can see them everyday!  I just purchased a huge 36 inch by 24 inch dry erase board that is magnetic.  Every time i go to sleep or wake up i see it!  I write down my to do list and my goals that i want to strive towards the new year.  I cant run from my goals i must take them head on.  Next to my big to do list i have a huge calendar i bought at staples for 5 bucks i track the days and write down which days to do what.

Some of the examples of goals i have put in place

1) Study word-press (Need to improve)
2) Relaunch 2 new domains (need to improve)
3) Workout every single day (goal kept)
4) Stop buying sugar and use local honey instead (goal kept)
5) Stop eating fast food more fruits and vegetables (goal kept)
6) Be more understanding and nice to those around me (need improvement.)
7) Increase my relationship with the almighty (improved)
8) Write more articles (need improvement)

I have more goals though i think this shows that you need multiple goals and work towards them everyday.  I also let me significant other write down goals she has for me and vice versa.

Think big! Write big! Shoot for the stars and if you fall short you will land on the moon.  You are the one who decides your destiny not anyone else.  Every hand you are dealt you can turn into a winning hand or at the very least a learning experience you can build off from in the future.

You have the power to accomplish anything you want if you set your mind to it.  Be the unstoppable force you know you can be.  Create the momentum to propel you through the year.

The only difference between winning and losing is the losers gave up! Winners never quit and losers never win.  Don't quit! Don't Give up!  You are a fighter! You Are a winner! You are the last person standing! You are the 1st one to the gym and the last person to leave.  When people say no you cant do it you show them you can.

Winning is a mind state. Even sports is 80 % mental and 20 % physical.  Some of the greatest players of all time didn't have the best physical gifts but over came those obstacles with dedication and preparation.

What you think really matters and is powerful don't let negative thoughts rule your day. The moment that happens snap out of it and think about something wonderful like a happy baby.  If You think great things those dreams you have will become real.

Written goals have never been my style, but I have them CONSTANTLY in mind. I started a couple of weeks before the New Year to tackle the diet and exercise one, so far I lost 15 pounds and 3 inches on the waistline. In exercise 3 days a week and the only day missed we had 8 inches of snow in our driveway. I started a new domain last week and already have my first sale from it. Goals are for dreamers, I just go do it.

Nice article. We all should do exactly that, make a list of our goals and refer back to it on a daily basis. Not me of course because I never write anything down, but all of YOU

Goal setting! Mmm that's something I should really put on my list of resolutions. Thanks for this inspiring article. I hope that, like most good articles, the writer (you) gained as much as the readers who truly understand what you have presented for us to read. Your examples look like they will be of great benefit to you both from a personal and business point of view.

Hi Andrew, I like this:
- You are the one who decides your destiny not anyone else.
- You have the power to accomplish anything you want if you set your mind to it.

Personaly, I don't set my goals only at the begining of the year.
I do them when i don't have much left to be done.
I don't need to write them because i don't have that many to remember and my goals are not hard to accomplish. I wish you all the best and success in 2012.

Advertising Your Business Is My Business

Winners Never quit and Losers Never Win! I love it and it's is so true. I have goals too, help everyone who is marketing online, actually get a shot at the gold ring. Internet marketing can be very lonely because we all work from home instead of a cubical. Personally, I love it, however I've been working for myself from home online for 16 years now and would not trade it for the best of offline jobs. They can keep their politics and BS, The Internet is the only way to have financial and per

Great Job Andrew! We all spend December planning for the new year. The challenge is changing old habits that prevent change.
