Dell has introduces 60 new jobs for the Irish people in Limerick, concerned with the field of engineering.

The residents of Ireland have received good news from the American computer manufacturer, Dell, as it has decided to introduce 100 jobs at its Limerick campus. The management of the company wants to improve its operations in the European country. Dell news reported that these jobs are considered as a part of the digital investment of the company.

Dell’s EMEA President, Aongus Hegarty, has stated the added jobs would reward the highly equipped talent of the country. This statement indicates that the management believes in the capability of Irish people of adding to the potential of the company. He has also said that the employed workers would contribute to its global development.

Dell stock informed that the employment opportunities would soon be filled, as the recruitment process would start immediately. The corporate giant is not new to the Irish labor market, as it has previously announced to create 60 such opportunities for its ‘research and development department’ in the Irish capital, Dublin. Market sources have revealed that the new recruits would work closely with the Dublin-based staff.

The Chief Information Officer has stated his appreciation towards the talent pool. This statement suggests that the Irish people have not disappointed the company. Dell computer highlighted that the Government of Ireland has welcomed its initiative, as Irish Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan, stated that the jobs demonstrate the company’s interest and benefit to the country. The Irish authorities are anticipated to take measures to facilitate the selection process.

Dell has maintained a controversial record in the region where it has previously closed a production facility in the European country, which consequently resulted in the loss of 2000 employees. It is most likely that the added jobs would improve the manufacturer’s reputation in the territory.

The company affirmed that its new opportunities are directed towards engineers. The Irish State Minister for Department of Jobs has also appreciated the introduced jobs as he stated that the jobs represent a vote of confidence. This represents a situation of mutual benefit.

Dell currently operates in a number of Irish cities, including Limerick, Cork, and Dublin. More than 2000 people are handling the company’s operations in the region. Experts presented the view that this endeavor would not only improve the company image but would also boost the growth of the European economy, as Ireland is a member of the European Union.
