Crowdfunding In Different Countries
Crowdfunding in different countries can be made according to the laws of that country. It also depends also on the rules of the website. Different countries worldwide are open to this new idea of fundraising capital. However, amongst the 3 forms of crowdfunding (equity, reward and donation), it is the law on the buy and sell of stocks (equity) that differ in every country. All the other forms allow crowdfunding in different countries. Below is described the possibility of crowdfunding in different countries at the time this article was written (Jan.2013).

The law in the US provides that buying and selling of stocks by non-accredited parties is not legal. It does not allow non-accredited small-scale investors to venture in equity crowdfunding. However, the US is opened to the idea of buying and selling of stocks by way of fundraising, but their law does not allow the act of actually doing it. It only allows the so-called accredited investors to do the buying and selling of stocks.
