The philanthropist Alex von Furstenberg has showed that the business decisions should not always to be taken with a cold attitude to gain exclusive predisposition. Most importantly, always tend to perform well and work to help overcome the poorest in our society.

The main sectors that benefited from the work of this foundation are education, human rights, arts, health and environment.

The contributions of this foundation are a daily support to the efforts made by each of the organizations they sponsor. These efforts include programs for children and youth, wages that allow social workers to reach more people in need, educations sponsored entities at all levels, building programs for children art and literature and more, contributing more than 30 million dollars to various organizations since its inception.

Another organization of which Mr. Furstenberg is a part is the Friends of the High Lines, a nonprofit organization that contributes to the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of New York. Thanks to the work of this organization, have done many works in the city, including the High Line, an extraordinary public park that was completed in Manhattan in 2009.
