Epson printer drivers may sometimes experience printer problems. While trying to print something on Epson printer, sometimes the machine may malfunction and may not react to the commands.

This is a really annoying problem. If your Epson printer isn't able to print anything, it may prevent you from finishing your work. But don't be alarmed. This issue can be resolved.

Many Epson printer owners have found success with the following simple fixes for their problems. Simply go through the list until you discover the one that works for you; you don't have to try them all.

1) Ensure printer is connected properly

There's a chance that your Epson printer installation and PC aren't correctly connected. Therefore, it's important to verify that your printer and computer have a proper connection.

If printer is connected by USB cable

-Check if the cable is properly connected. If it isn’t, reconnect the cable and make sure they are properly seated into the ports on both your printer and your computer.

-Connect your printer directly to your computer without using a hub.

-Try connecting the cable to another USB port on your computer and see if this works for you.-   You may also need to experiment with another cable and see if there is any problem with the cable you’re using.

If printer if connected through WiFi

-Examine your modem and router, among other network devices, as well as your network connection.

-Check if your printer is correctly connected to the network by viewing its network connection status.

-Should the need arise, either reconnect or swap out your network cable if your printer is hooked in.

-Try re-establishing a connection between your wireless printer and the network at home or at work.

If printer is connected via Bluetooth

-Verify that your printer and computer are sufficiently close.

- To resolve the issue, try re-pairing your printer with your computer.

2)Set your printer to default mode

It's possible that your Epson printer isn't functioning because your computer hasn't made it the default printer.

To set your Epson printer the default printer in your system, go through the  following steps.

- To open the Run box, simultaneously hit the Windows logo key and the number R on your keyboard.

- Type "control" into the keyboard and hit Enter.

- Open the View By tab and click on Large Icons

- Click on the Devices and Printers tab

- Right click your printer, and choose the Set as Default Printer option

3)Turn on the Print Spooler service

Your computer's Print Spooler service controls the communication between your printer and computer as well as your print jobs. If this service is disabled, your Epson printer will not function correctly. To make sure the service is operating correctly, you should check it.

How to check:

1) To open the Run box, simultaneously hit the Windows logo key and R on your keyboard.

2) Type "services.msc" into your keyboard's Enter key. The Services window will open as a result.

3) Double click on the Print Spooler tab

4) Verify that the service status is running and that the startup type is set at Automatic

5)If not, click on the Start button after selecting Automatic as the Startup option

6)Click on the OK option

7)Verify and ensure that your Epson printer is now working properly
