Zenzuu - I have a question regarding Zenzuu
A couple of my friends are recommending that I join them at Zenzuu. And when I ask them why the answer is pretty much this:
"The Zenzuu Worldwide Advertising Revenue Sharing Program is perfect for all the people who could not afford to come into a costly MLM company. Learn how you can earn money by telling people to join for FREE and getting everyone they know to sign up for FREE."
Now I understand that 80% of advertising revenue in the future will go to the members. So can you please help me out and explain to me where my thinking is going wrong below?
When Don F. has 1 million members in Zenzuu and the advertising revenues are say 10 million dollars per month, each member will earn 8 dollars per month and Don F. will pocket 2 million per month.
I would really like to understand where all the enthusiasm is coming from regarding this revenue sharing program, but I just do not see it, and my friends (so far) are unable to explain it to me.
PS. Before we receive more defensive responses from ZenZuu members, please appreciate that the question is not about Zenzuu as a social networking community, but about the real money value of a revenue sharing program for its members. A revenue sharing program may sound great in theory, but what can you expect to pocket as a member of the community?
PPS. As you will read in the comments below, one of my assumptions was completely wrong. The expected advertising revenue above of 10 million dollars should be 20 times less at around 0.5 million dollars per month, bringing the average monthly earnings for members down from 8 dollars per month to some 40 cents per month.

I have been a member of Zenzuu since 27 May 2008. I have more than 1000 members now and counting. If I never do anything else now, every day more people will join. Now what is exciting isin the next few days we will all be able to go out and get companies to advertise on Zenzuu. Now instead of waiting a month for a paycheck we get paid within 48 hours. Everyone wants to wait to see a paycheck. Well when I get a paid on my m cash card on 15 November, it does not mean that you will get the same am

Sorry guys and gals, but I removed the last two comments because they were riddled with affiliate links. A pity, because some of the comments were worth sharing and reading.

Hey Joe!
Thanks for answering my question about when the payment was due. Greatly appreciated!
It would be a good idea to put that sort of information in the back office; maybe in the frequently asked questions.

Hi Lea,
Thanks for mentioning my comment within this thread. My thing is more for socializing and if I get a check sometime down the road, well that is just icing on the cake for me. I have been paid on some things and in June I got checks from 3 different sources. Here is the point, they were small approx $20 each but that is $60 that really helped us that month. It's hardly worth telling the world 'I MADE $$$'. If I ever come across something that PAYS and I GET PAID BIG, I'll mention it in

Hi again Lea,
My apologies but it seems I missed your following question:
"I would like to also know why ZenZuu rubs you so wrong but you are so heavily embedded in Apsense, so it obviously does not?
Is it because Apsense was marketed as a business social network?"
Yes I am heavily embedded into Apsense compared to my lack of active involvement in any other social networking websites. Why am I so active with Apsense? I like the community, the functionality, the touch and feel. It certainly i

Hi Lea, no problem answering your questions here :-)
You start off by answering my question with a question open to interpretation.
Was the question I asked serious? Yes it was. I join a social networking website for social networking. The Zenzuu website and members promote the revenue sharing program, so I simply wanted clarification on whether the revenue program is everything it is hyped up to be. With the response from Joe we have been able to shed some objective light regarding expectation

I AM SORRY FOR MY DELAY, I did not see page two and thought that you had deleted my post (big cheesy embarrassed smile), so I came back to ask why & saw my name in your post ... LOL.
Inaki, in regard to the following:
"And Lea, you round off your lengthy response (all good stuff) with the classic closing sentence "Either way, they have the potential to make money and help others make money." Which comes back to my unanswered question "WHAT MONEY?" I don't call 1-2 dollars in my pocket per mon

Ok, that's enough free promoting for you Joe.
I have taken a close look at Zenzuu and decided to leave it well alone.
That's my personal choice.

Hi Joe, thanks for participating in this blog openly. So based on the MySpace yardstick total revenue for 180.000 members would be expected to be around 90.000 dollars, and based on Google around 70.000 dollars. So let's say 80.000 dollars per month. Now those are concrete figures to work with and to extrapolate into income calculations.
80% of 80.000 is 64.000, and that works out at some 35 cents per member per month.
So roughly speaking I would expect someone with 20.000 active members over

Hi Inaki!
Your question is very good. I am rather new in Zenzuu with two active reps and a downline of four but...where is the money? When is it coming? I asked my sponsor and she doesn't seem to know. Maybe Joe Risk knows. I have to ask him. Thanks!

Thanks Joe for focussing on my question. Now to help those of us without a degree in mathematics, can you provide some example figures. For example you state 180.000 members which is great going. I don't know how many of these are actually active, but let's assume they are all active. What kind of advertising revenue can you expect to rake in based on 180.000 active members and what can an active member expect to earn over 9 levels of say 3x3x3... = roughly 20.000 members? As a founding member y

Thanks Jeunelle. Finally someone who has focussed their response on my original question. Every single member of Zenzuu that I have spoken to starts off by pitching the revenue sharing program at me and telling me how brilliant the 80% is. Sorry, but I still do not see this.
The question I am asking is about the revenue sharing program. Not about whether one can advertise for free or whether the platform is free. And I am not asking for a lengthy explanation of what a commissioned agent is or h

So far my EARNINGS here at ApSense are: $0.80 and over at Yuwie they are: $2.75(aprox) give or take a FEW PENNIES...LOL. I use these sites for just what they are social sites. In the traffic exchange area I have seen a couple of 'NEW' sites that combine the SN qualities with TE and 'pay-per-click' systems.....hmmmmmmmm. I don't know. As you can tell I am REALLY EXCITED about these NEW sites........NOT!!

Inaki,
When I go to the search engines and look at the listings for various businesses that were marked well, I can't help to notice that THEY ARE what they are marketed as.
As for the Zen Zuu owner taking his 20% off the top ... It was his creative vision that he made a reality. He is providing the opportunity, so it is up to the opportunists to do what they will in order to obtain their visions. They not only have the potential to make money with Zen Zuu, but also with whatever and whoever

Hi Simon, it tells me that you might want to direct your questions to the Zenzuu members directly. I assume that the functionality to make such postings is available on Zenzuu. And otherwise post your questions here. I am certain you will receive a response from this community as there are plenty of Zenzuu members who are reading these postings.

Hi Cheryl, what you describe are the basic functions I would expect to find on any decent social networking websites. And any decent social networking website I joined would have me visiting at least 30 times a month, especially here at Apsense which I must visit a couple of hundred times a month without effort. But my early warning signal goesoff wheh a condition is set for Zenzuu members that they have to visit at least 30 times a month. This tells me that the Zenzuu owner is after traffic vol

Hi Luzia, Don F. is the guy who owns Zenzuu.
And Clarence, I have no problem with Zenzuu as a social networking website, and I have no problem with the owners of MySpace etc. taking all the revenue.
My issue has to do with Zenzuu promoting itself and attracting members through the "Zenzuu Worldwide Advertising Revenue Sharing Program."
So I am still looking for an explanation of how the revenue sharing is worth my while.
