Feedback and Suggestions for APSense Express 2.0

I did that already. I tried removing it from start up, but it says the something about it being "not yet classified" and it won't let me remove it.

After uninstall i would suggest looking for the folder with the name Apsense in it and delete the folder if its still there.

will probadly be in c:\programfiles\

I probably could have read through ALL the posts but didn't. I had some issues with Express slowing everything down, so I decided to uninstall it and try again. It won't uninstall completely. It still loads everytime I restart the computer, only there's nothing in the box now. I tried to remove it from the start up menu, but it says it's not there, since all the files supposedly got deleted. I am reluctant to go ahead and try and reinstall it.

Any thoughts?

that is what I did... reinstalled and it is working... i just have to remember to launch it now!

but I've joined Got Safelist and they use the AE also so that is a two in one operation now!

That would be the first course of action and should fix things.

I haven't launched my Apsense Express recently because ever since I upgraded it when that came through... it has bogged down on my computer....

I'm thinking of removing it and reinstalling it...

Okay I fill now I understand spamming so here's my two cents for what it's worth. I to have recieved some pretty XXX post once now and emails from spammers several. But in it all I have to agree with SAN on that post boot them out..............

I have spoke with Wincer. And we have implemented a new feature, free members will only be able to post every 5 minutes. This will help with those spammers who post multiple times every few minutes. Well as he spammed the APSense Group again despite a warning last week, I will be making a spam report as well.

The person concerned appears to only come to APSense to deposit his spam turds

Yes BJ it is obvious that he does not care or he would have heeded a warning which he received for spamming here and friendly advice to check out the TOS. He obviously feels this does not apply to him since he returned again. Perhaps we should lock up the litter box since we know his pattern indicates a return. Let him find somewhere else to drop the "spam turds"

There must be either a language barrier or VERY questionable intelligence with this guy and others like him...

Well, I don't want this thread to get overun and turn into an antispam thread, but I think the owners need to look very seriously at what is happening here. People don't need to be suspended or given warnings. They need to be booted out. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but having been told something and then acting in defiance of it is just not acceptable. We are grown ups here.

The spam is a major concern. I know exactly who you are talking about San. This is his second run with the spam. The last time he did it I commented on one of his many posts to read the TOS on duplicate content but it obviously did not work. I will be sending a message to APSense through the contact button.

can we have a 'report spam' button on the AE. Seriously, I just looked and there was 7 posts from the same member on the same topic!
We have buttons to delete or add to favourites, why not to report spam?

And I don't know the exact policy for dealing with spammers but really the message isn't getting through. Isn't it time that the consequence for spamming was getting the boot?

Its pretty hot for Tasmania... About 28 i'm guessing... I spent 3 years in Brisbane (Logan) and that was enough to remind me how "cool" tasmania was...

The 12 months we spent in Melbourne was hot enough... summer was rarely under 35 that year..

I have firefox.. and now when I click a link in the AE new version it does open a new tab in my browser althouugh it is slow process!

All seems to be working fine... Excellent in fact...

I had to download it twice... that seemed to fix the probs for me and apsense must have fixed the bugs on your end as well
