I can't believe I didn't jump on the referral program right away here at apsense.

Thanks to your post Lynn we got on that and it was amazing to see a few join Apsense right away.

Sorry for the extra post - I logged out and clicked on one of my blogs in the Widget. When i clicked on the "Sign-up" link at that blog page it went to my sign-up page. So yes, even the blogs direct users to your APsense affiliate account.

Even the Blogs have "&user=USERNAME" at the end of the Blog URL on the Widgets. This should also follow through to a credited sign up even if someone only visits your blog i would think....

I just went and tested it and yes if they click the Join then it says invited by and my id when I click on the very bottom apsense.com link.

As I unberstand it from Wincer
anyone visiting the site through the widget and decides to sign up will be credited to the person who's widget they used to visit the site.

Am I correct that the if anyone clicks on the links and Joins Apsenese we will creditred, even form the Bottom Apsense.com link?

Go to “My account” Tab
Then to “Promoting Materials”
You will then see “Website Widget”

Use the little radio buttons to select what you want to show then click on
Generate code.

It will show you how it looks.
You can play with the radio buttons combinations to see the different ways it will look.
Don’t forget to hit the Generate code each time you change the radio buttons though.

Since Bj offered support on this, I will leave your question for him :). All I can tell you is that I added it to a forum portal panel, I just put the code in and was good to go. I am sure Bj will be able to help you.

I have already brought up the idea of being able to customize them to blend with different websites. The answer was we currently have one style, but this is not to rule out added features in the future. Lynn

Would it be possible to have the "shadow" image around the border as "transparent gif" ?

if you only went to preview it before uploading it you security software could prevent javascript from showing

Okay I tried to insert the widget into my Hillynut.com page and it froze the page when I saved and hit preview. I put in with my html editor.
what did I do wrong?

Bj, of course I need help. Don't ever ask if I need help. I would like very much to know how to set up a widget on my abc site.
You don't have to help me right now though. Have to go outside and feed my animals. Maybe tomorrow sometime.

This is way too cool! Between having widgets from Texty and Kanggie, adding this will eliminate my need to do much at all in building a simple webpage for TrEx's. I can't wait to see what's next.
