What the heck is a frame breaker?

Frame Breakers have their purpose if used correctly.

As mentioned, just don't use them on a website that uses frames based surfing.

Yes like the folks said they are a real pain
when you surfing although most surf sites
now have a framebreaking test when you
first submit you site and some Admins even
check all sites manually before the are allowed.

A frame breaker script breaks the website out of an iframe. When advertising on surf sites your website is put into a iframe so their counter can count down. A frame breaker would stop the counter from appearing and make the website go to it's original link in the window that is open thus disrupting the surfers surfing activity.

This is totally forbidden on all siurf sites that I am aware of, despite the fact you still get idiots that submit frame breaker sites. Once pinned down

A frame breaker is a Java Script. Some web sites use frame sets to make a navigation system. Basically, this script breaks you out of frames you may have encountered before this page (as often happens in the web). Which are not very good for TE's and messes up their system.
