Inappropriate Reply to topic

I made a post in one of the more popular groups here, highlighting one of my blogs. One of the replies was, in my opinion, somewhat inappropriate (the remarks themselves were inappropriate and the user made a typical SPAM comment redirect to focus on their website). I initially hit the "Report" link, then after doing so, realised i should have deleted the reply altogether. Unfortunately the reply will not delete. I am guessing this is because it has a report against it, but i thought i may be able to get some advice here, before loading "APsense support" with more work.
