Multiple contact messaging!!

The only reason to send multiple contact messaging is for spamming. I as well as others here don't like that.

If you want to send mass mailing maybe a safelist is what is needed. Not Apsense. The contact list is for getting to know one another. Create partnerships or just communicate.

If someone insists on spamming then let them work for it.

Mass mailing I think would be the downfall of a great system in place already. I

Perhaps if there was a way to prevent hyperlinks from showing and anything that ended in a website extension (.com, .net, .info, .biz, etc, etc,) and http:// and www were blocked and words like "for more information" or "visit my profile" or similar tags were blocked...

I would like to see something along those lines so i can send my monthly catch-up newsletter (which i haven't been able to do this month). Even though my intentions are honourable and so would some others, i can see APsense be

The deny button is always there if anyone is spamming another one. Simply press it and its all over. No more spamming :)

One of the reason I spend time here is the "LACK " OF MASS MESSAGING."

Maybe if more member would learn the Real Power of a
Business Social Network, someday it could be beneficail...
But as long as so many join to Blast inane ads about emprty promises,
let's keep it the way it is.

Have to add the same as other comments here mass messaging is just to open to abuse. I may be the minority of people that would abuse the system but it only takes a few to be annoying

I'd rather not receive spam on a regular basis. I'm in other social sites where mass messaging is allowed and I receive loads of spam. I no longer visit those sites! If you want to contact someone and it is important enough, you will take the time.

It is common knowledge that there is nothing that does not have the other side. I know that mass messaging has its own advantages. however, if the majority of the members are against mass messaging, so be it.

The bulletin is the way to contact our network en mass and can contain ads that is not looked on as spamming.

There is no way to contact our contacts en mass to prevent spamming.

Bulletins only go out to your network, not your contact list.

If we want to make friends then sending mass emails is definately not the way to do it.

I thought that was what the bulletins were for? To notify everyone in our group at once.

I dont think we want to spam our friends. Sometimes we just need to contact everyone at certain times. They can tell us if they dont like the thing we send so we stop sending them. Cause we want to be good people and make good friends here at apsense

There is not and will not be an option to mass mail your contacts.
The reason for this is to prevent spam abuse.

The messaging system was not designed to be used for sending ads and this is one way of reducing that although it is still done by the most determined spammers.

Rukas, that was a valid observation cum request. If the request is granted, it will ease up messaging activities here at Apsense. Thank you for bringing it up.
