How do you add tags for your groups?

I feel what Apsense and members doing here are pretty fine

As a general rule, Tags are used to give relevance to the site, page or topic. They can also be a way to quickly search on a popular keyword. In social bookmarking pages for example, if you click on a tag, it will take you to a page where all the topics associated with that tag are located...

We have no control it is words selected from post titles.

Tags are similar to a keyword actually more like a category. For example: you write an article on this great new lawn mower. You might tag this article with something like the name of the mower. Well the next person whom reads the article thinks it could be categorized by lawn equipment, so they can add a tag of lawn equipment, and so on. Tags li

This has been there for as long as I can remember.
All the tags indicate are that they have been used in the title of a post.
the number next to them indicates the number of times that word is used.

Now as to if anyone would search on some of those single words or not ?
personaly I dont think so.

We have no control over what is shown there the system controles it.

Please, educate me on tags. I have encountered them several times. What is their essence? How is the tagging done? Thank you.
