One of the easiest craft's to start at home is friendship bracelets. They can be made out of many different materials in-expensively sourced, from string, wool, embroidery threads and even plastic tubing if it's thin enough to be pliable. It also great fun so give it a try. There are plenty of great sites to help you on line to get the basic moves sorted, so give it a try...

Yes working with wood is awesome. My husband and I both do woodturning on a lathe. I love it. We tried turning it into a business at one point but with the economy the way it was we couldn't get sales. It takes a lot of time to make a beautiful piece of artwork on a lathe.

We enjoy woodworking. It required little capital for equipment and the project ideas are endless. Over the years my wife has developed a nice repeat clientele for her Yard Art, some of which is featured on APSense in our Photo section

In India collecting and sorting trash is quite a profitable and thriving venture. Almost little or no capital is needed for it. Besides this it can be started on any road encroaching a little space and increasing it slowly as any law-enforcers can be easily bought off here. I think this holds good for many other country.

Book making. All we need is paper, needle, thread, carton and spare cloth for the cover.

To me, making delicious food for my little baby is the easy craft to do at home. you may say it is not a craft at all, but for me, it is. because I have paid patience and heart as much as doing any other crafts work.

Hmm ...

I like drawings and illustrating (with software) - but I guess that is not a craft.
I used to make cards (greeting cards) and you can give them out, its really meaningful.
