What is the worst part of the internet?

The worst aspect of the Internet is Hackers who love sharing viruses, Spammers who stuff Inboxes and Scammers who think they are getting away with it when in actuality word of mouth is ruining their reputation even online. I enjoyed everyone's posts regarding this thoughtful question. :D

It used to be spyware or malware, but since I started using Linux for browsing online that problem went away. Now what I think is worst is that people can LIE, CHEAT and STEAL from others and there is seemingly no consequence.

the worst part of the internet is the fact there is no sense of responsibility and no one is held accountable for their actions.

Load shedding! Here in South Africa there's a huge problem with our electricity provider, Eskom, and so the electricity supply is shut off every now and again, and it's irritating when you're in the middle of something... It also isn't good for all electrical appliances... I see that there are references to being watched in the above comments... I don't mind that, because I've got nothing to hide, and feel that my internet could serve as an alibi one day should anyone try to get clever with

We are always being watched by Big Brother .......so watch out!

You never know when you are being "watched" by a third party, a Big Brother, for example.
