The most important, it should suite our audience for example If i have a blog in health niche my affiliate programs should be related to health and fitness.
What I looked for before I became an affiliate marketer were programs that:
1. Didn't require me to spend large amounts to manufacture and store inventory.
2. Where there was no need to take and process a single order, or worry about getting paid (you don’t even need a merchant account!) — you simply send people to your affiliated merchants, then get paid when they buy.
3. I didn’t have to handle or ship a product — your merchants do that.
4. Programs where I will never have to answ
1- To be real business, deal with real products and services.
2- The business must has successful track record.
3- the system of the business solid, and not at all depends on subjective assessment in any of it's features.
4- how is the growth rate of the business over the last three years looks like?
The thing to look for are:
1.Is there a lot of people doing promotion for that product?
2.Is there a big commission to receive?
3.Are promotional tools available?
4.Is it something people are always looking for?
5.Do i have recurring commissions?
If the answer to all of this is YES,then i go for it.
In an affiliate program I try first of all the quality of the products and / or services to promote. Then, it is also important the availability of marketing materials, traceability safe and last but not least regularity in payment of commission!
I would like a business that provides solid income even if it is small at first but that has potential to build up.
I don´t even look at the offers of thousands of dollars from the day after you join.
I am looking for an honest pay for an honest work.
1.Search for the company site and study the profile,
2.look for reviews and feedback learning about other people's experiences concerning the business.
3.Sit back and count your eggs before they hatch.Make a cost/benefit analysis and measure your risk level. How much commission is being offered.
4.Consider if it is a Top Tier business or Low Tier which will determine your level of involvement.
5.Plunge in and take the risk ,
There are 3 main thing that you look in an affiliate program:
1. Commission:ex 10% commission on a $800 necklace is better than 50% on a $100 necklace.
2.Conversion:Does the product converts well?Product with high conversion is better.
3.Recurring Commission;Receiving recurring commission just for one sale is better than receiving a commission just once and you have to look for another sale to get another commission.

Look for history if company pays commission before and the percentage they pay plus threshold.
