Yes, I believe Microsoft keep on improving especially now with the release of the Windows 8 series.

MS has improved in last few years but still there are some deficiencies that have to be tackle e.g explorer

Microsoft has kept up its tradition of constant improvement and upgrading. Window XP is marvelous on all counts. Though its browser EXPLORER is not as good as Mozilla still we cannot deny that it is now much improved.

Microsoft is definitely improving, everybody always complained about Windows Vista, yet they don't know that Windows 7 is based on Vista's Kernel, which is a very stable one. I like Windows 7 very much because of its stability and speed, but I am using Windows Vista as it is more customizable than 7, if you know how to deal with it. I think Microsoft has a long way to go in my opinion.

nah. other competitors are performing way better than MS and reducing its overall growth.

I've read an article by a Mac maniac saying he was very enthusiastic about Windows 8, and Bing is holding its own, I am very satisfied by Windows 7, so Microsoft is still very much in the game

Yes! Microsoft has improved over the years. I have used all of the packages except Microsoft 8 which will be an exciting touch screen version of Windows. The days of the blue screen problems of XP to Vista I have seen it all. The big reason people have so many problems with windows is they fail to keep up with the updates. The next problem is all the spyware and virus problems. You must use good tools to keep any version of Windows running clean. Apple will never measure up to the capabilities o

microsoft made a lot of changes some is good and some is bad. 98 is my favorite OS. xp is good but slow then 98 window 7 is again good visual but againe slow then xp. Now I am using window7 and i like it but i hope i have done same work with less RAM with more speed.
