I use my desktop or laptop mostly - but - there are many people using their phones as seen by orders for my products that come from them. Personally, even though we have a samsung note, the screen is still too small and does not show site to it's best. Beggers cannot be chosers though and I will take orders from any source.
My autoresponder stats tell me that all my emails are being read on desktops.
Bear in mind though that Google owns Android and Apple have a lot of money too, so those two are going to have things their way. MS are making their way to smaller footprint screen devices too.
We're being forced this way by hoards of phone obsessed minions who look at but don't read their tiny screen devices when our main audience, for the most part, use larger screens and actually read what's written in front of
