The most secure, effective and quickest way to get rid of your 10 mln dollars is to join as many as possible the GET-RICH-QUICK programs which abound on the Internet. Especially those which claim that you don't have to do anything and don't need to know anything!

If I had 10 million I would put 5 aside in my Bank savings first.. that would supply enough interest to live comforatably each month and l have left over for reinvestment without ever working at all again as for the other 5 mil well a new house would be priority but with enough rooms to host overseas visitors and tourists that provides additional income for the luxuries it time we got a share of. I would invest in innovative young business builders to help unlock doors financial challenges they

LOL....... yeah, never meant to create controversy and if I did, I apologize... and truth being said, I never actually answered it myself!! I think I'd love to be able to cushion my life, buy a new house, see a few more places and then see if I could help others, like paying for the groceries of someone who looks like they could do with a random gift of kindness from a stranger. Imagine getting named "the open walleted grocery shop stalker"!!!

Joe very good but everybody did answer the question in a way. If they bought a house, helicopter, farm, investments they no longer have 10 million dollars. As long as something was done then they answer it.

My apologies, Paula, I did miss your first response, but you described how you would keep the money and not how long it would take for you to lose it and that is great... I'm sure, from having read many of your comments all over APSense, that you will be one of those special people who won't lose it. God bless you with the situation you have and the positive that you explain that have come from that s proof that it's not what happens to you that matter, but how you deal with it.

The question is "How soon would you LOSE it" and so far only Judit and Bianca answered the question. I would say it depends how you got to the point where you actually had $10 mill... if you won the Lotto, roughly one-third of lottery winners find themselves in serious financial trouble or in bankruptcy within five years of turning in their winning ticket... in other words the party just never stops until the money runs out. If you earned it and worked for it, you'd probably not just lose it, ex

Sad but true post Paula, it just shows that all the money in the world can't bring complete happiness as your son will never fully recover now. The only thing that brings you happiness is when you know that people love you, no matter what you have and haven't got. You are a true inspiratiion coming on here and keeping everyone's spirits up as you do. I am always intrigued as to what you are going to say next

It is with such life changing events that you find out who your true friends are. In a way. I lost contact with some in those days with people I thought were friends. Some family relatives did not even bother to show up while Lars was in coma for 7 days in the hospital, or after that when he was back home again. On the other side people of who expected nothing gave us real support. For the ones that did not, I have no hard feelings because there are many people that basically do care but just do

Paula, thank you for sharing that. It showed my short idea of things. It moved me because I had a car accident which cause some damage to my brain. Although, I'm back it was a rough road to get here. I had no one but my internet family at that time. It was my fault that no one was there because I was very an*l. I was some what wealthy and mistreated everyone that I came accross. Thus, no one in my time of need.

Having money and not thinking to buy insurance was a costly process that bankrupt m

Thanks Harry. My husband and I are at peace with it. It all happened long ago. I can truly say our youngest is the happiest of our 3 sons. He is always happy and in a good mood, basically he is already in heaven since he does not need a partner, earthly luxury goods like a house, car and vacations to be happy. Of course it took us as parents years to see it that way. Despite some personal sacrifices (like not being able to start a professional carrier because I took care for him at home for many

Paula, I'm truly sorry to hear but I am glad that he has a seemly great mom in his life. I wish him the best and if you don't mind I will say a prayer for him. And I'm not the praying type whatsoever.

Tony, I look at it like, everyone should have a plan. Whether its written, spoken or thought about it should be often explored. If one goes to college, applies for a mortgage or whatever dramatic thought that can splendor ones channel (mind) they have to think it, write it and speak about it in order to get that thing.

I placed the number at 10 million to stretch even the most confident imagination to reach a bit further. If I had said a million dollars some people here would look at that as b

My youngest son became heavily mentally handicapped a young age. He suffered severe brain damage from a flue virus. Such things certainly change ones perspective of what is important in life. These are all things that are priceless and can not be bought even if you had a 100million. These are love, family, health, true friends and the good feeling you have when you make a positive difference in other peoples lives.

Paula, you are right why don't we make it 20, just kidding. I agree at some point in some people's life money is good but family, friends and sometimes the stranger who opens the door when your hands are full is enough. I have blown a lot of money doing foolish things over my time. Then I've been dead broke and at points could not have been happier. Now that I'm doing good again over the last few blessed years I learned lessons that I wouldn't have learned any other way.

As I continue to read these comments given by the APSense members, I bet only a few would probably do as they stated in their comments...because one thing I have come to learn is that imagining is far different from actual reality.-hmmmm

Why would I want 10 million dollar in the first place? Having money is pleasant but not a guarantee for happiness. I would probably buy a nice house in Turkey, maybe a boat. I would probably give a part away to my kids to pay of their mortgage, set up a trust fund for all grandkids so they have money to study when they are older. I would set up a trust fund from which the dividend of that money would go to several good causes. I would hire people in advance people to screen these good causes sin

It's great Tony, you will need alot more than 10 million to get top investors that's diner money to them. I like Dubai for investment strategy. The software idea is good too come to think of it still nervous about not seeing my money.
