I have 1 cat, she's black and i love her! Her healthinsurance costs me €30/month and covers 100% of all medical expenses, also the preventive ones like shots or wormtablets. her food costs me about €20/month, making that a grand total of €50/month :)

I have three cats, and spend about 80-100 a month on them, between food, and litter, and treats. Luckily they are healthy and haven't cost anything at the vet, but if it comes to them getting sick and needing the vet, they will be looked after, they are part of our family.

I have one dog, he is a chihuahua mix with beautiful black fur with white patches on the chest and paws with blond highlights. Now he is old and he got more white hairs over the years. On average I spend about $30 or $40 a month buying him dog food and dental care supplies in petland discounts. Veterinary expenses for cleaning his teeth and general check up is about $300 a year. So my dog is not very much expense.

Sandi Johnson, that was a great share and an important one for those who are considering having a pet...I say pet but they soon become family...sorry that you pets passed but the memories of the funny things and the love that animals often express can be refreshing. Thanks.
