How do I get rid of a spammer?

If you block them, that only takes care of the problem for you, but reporting can eliminate it for many. Publicly shaming them might seem like a good idea, but it has a definite negative impact and I would rather keep a positive environment to encourage more people to participate.

I would go to his profile page and shame him publicaly by posting there to stop

Block Him, he wont be able to contact you again.

All you need to do is report him to the admin.
