Language translator can be handy when you are reading long articles as I believe that few people don't know how to speak/write English but who got the time to translate each and every word/line using translator in small discussions? Atleast I don't have time for that...
@Naveen: Yes, I agree but when you want to promote business online I think English language is a minimum requirement and I guess there will be very less people who cannot communicate in English and they can utilize any free translator tool for it and can post it. In fact it is not a big problem even if you launch a translator in apsense but the point is if not @ apsense the user has to go through English language in one or the other site. Not a big problem anyways. it might be flexible for them
@Deeksha: But, dont you think that most of the users are just unable to chat because of the language issue..?? This can also result in a Down Network.. I think
It's not a problem.... People all over the world communicate in English and this is the platform where all people can interact. If the translator is implemented the preference will also become less to interact with other people. I better suggest not to include translator. so that all can communicate with out any differences and it will be easy to communicate with every one in English. if you provide translator then people may look out for only the same language user and the network may become do
One pertinent point here is that most translator softwares translate from ANY LANGUAGE to ANY LANGUAGE. so utility is universal. Apsense must have have it now.
I believe Apsense with all the new influx of recognition should be all it can be. I personally have gone outside the box and used Google Translate to better understand contacts request for more information. That being said, English is not the focal point here. However, such a tool would, by my estimate, be utilized by less than 2% of Apsense population. Only Apsense can justify the cost of such an implementation to gain a 2% more popularity following? I vote yes. Has anyone tried to communicate
There are so many tech apps etc introduced that "make people lazy" or do they make life a little more convenient?.If having a translator in the house makes it easier for people to communicate what's the harm? I do agree that if communication between folks becomes an issue ,I agree with Philippe move on and connect with someone who makes an effort to understand and be understood.
I think there should be a language translator. It stills has to be typed in. Most people speak English anyway so only a few would use it. I guess I vote "neutral".
Simple, Naveen: you tell the person you don't understand, if he keeps talking in another language, you leave the conversation. Remember, there are thousands and thousands of members at APSense. You can send contact requests to active members every day.
I think it would make people lazy. Instead, we should all learn English properly, since we can't have a translator available at all times, especially when meeting people in person. Let's think long term here.

But, what should be done for the people who are unable to understand the language, which the other is using at that time.
