Got it!.. I think I understand now. If fish people are already doing something on that order... they would be the first people I would contact..... to expand their own operation or perhaps give guidance.... Just my opinion anyway!
In Niger, we are already producing beef jerky called locally "Kilichi".
What i mean by corneed-beef is a special presentation of lean meat prepared and presented in crimped boxes. Like cans of fish found in the stores.
I want to establish my future business in this type of meat processing. When the project will be set, i 'll define my capacity of transformation which depends on the technique to be implemented and the amount of money i'll put in it. Of course, You are right, it is not all the herd that will be processed into corneed-beef.
Abdou... I am certain that you don't want to process a whole herd into Corned Beef! Unless of course you have lots and lots of Irishmen there.....I am certain that you and I are not on the same page.... Let me ask you this... "Why do you want a herd of cattle processed into only Corned Beef? Why not just some into Corned Beef and the rest just cut and sold without being seasoned?
I am wondering if you are thinking Beef Jerky?
Jerky is lean meat that has been trimmed of fat, cut into strips, and
Cindy, you have exactly understood what i mean. With our important herd, we have no industry in this area.We are not benefiting from the added value along with the livestock value chain.
What i am asking about is a joint-venture on 2 aspects of the question: 1) a technical help for the process of producing corned beef. 2) a financial input in the project is also welcome. Generally in our developing countries, projects are paralysed by the lack of funding.
I must say Abdou.. I am a bit confused as to what you are asking. Corned beef here in the US is.... salt-cured beef product. The term comes from the treatment of the meat with large grained rock salt, also called "corns" of salt. It features as an ingredient in many cuisines.
I love Ruben Sandwiches..they are made with Corned Beef, as well as sauerkraut, swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing.... then it is grilled... Gosh my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Please, my question hasn't have the appropriate answer. In Niger, we a have an important herd of beef and cattle; There is opportunity to creat a norned-beef industry. Cansomeone help me to contract joint-venture for this purpose?
